Hail Creek Mine

Hail Creek Mine's location offers employees the best of both worlds - the choice to live in coastal Mackay or the rural environments of Nebo, Mirani and surrounds.  The region is the gateway to the Whitsundays, with regular daily flights from Mackay to Brisbane and other centres.  Professional services, educational and business opportunities are also extensively available throughout the region.

Blair Athol Mine/Clermont Mine Project

Blair Athol Mine and the Clermont Mine Project are located near the township of Clermont approximately 240 kilometres south west of Mackay.  Most employees of Blair Athol Mine and a number of Clermont Mine Project employees reside in Clermont township and take advantage of the opportunities to reside with their families in a town with varied educational and leisure options, and many amenities rarely seen outside of major centres.

Kestrel Mine

Kestrel Mine employees generally reside in the town of Emerald or the rural centre of Capella in the Peak Downs Shire within the Central Highlands.  Emerald is a large, modern country town that services the mining and rural sectors.  Emerald boasts an extensive range of primary, secondary and tertiary educational facilities and a diverse range of shops and services.  The town is serviced by regular daily flights to Brisbane.  Capella is a smaller centre that is home to one of the region's largest aquatic centres and a cultural centre that has hosted many well-known international acts.
